Deaf Theatre performers from around the world will meet at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, California in October 25-27, 2007. Over 2,500 deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and hearing theatre patrons will gather for an exciting three-day weekend of 13 dynamidc, unique performances. With a goal of creating a lasting structure meant to enhance, recognize and celebrate the rich cultural life of the Deaf around the world, the festival will be an exciting glimpse into our diverse global heritage of sign language. With possible performances by: Russian Deaf Theater, Hong Kong Theater, Chinese Dance Theater, National Theater of the Deaf, and professional artists, actors, and story tellers.
Audience supported, your ticket purchase goes directly to the costs associated with bringing the performances to you. Hands Across Communications is a non-profit, with a team of dedicated volunteers committed to bringing the most amazing artists together to showcase the best of sign language.
